About Rolls Royce

The name says it all. Is there a more glamorous name in motoring than Rolls Royce? Does anything exude luxury, opulence, style and class more than the famous maker with its trademark?

Sky high

Yet Rolls Royce is more than just a name. This is a cutting-edge manufacturer, whose output is not just luxury cars but also engines for racing cars and aircraft. With literally sky-high standards, those who buy a Rolls can be assured they are not just tapping into a rich history, but a present that is high-tech and always keen to push the barriers.

Perfection

"At Rolls-Royce Motor Cars we strive for perfection in everything we do", the company says. Those whose ideal car offers a combination of prestige, power, speed, wealth and comfort may regard this is just their kind of perfection.

Futuristic

The Drophead Coupe could be one great example of a new generation Rolls Royce that combines these mighty traditions with the latest in cutting edge design and performance. Jeremy Clarkson's review in the Times - in which he gave the vehicle five stars - stated: "Everything, from the unpainted bonnet to the backwards-opening suicide doors to the rattan carpets and, yes, even the teak Sunseeker-style decking on the back, makes it look as fresh and as futuristic as tomorrow morning's papers."

Impressive

He added that the car would look like a "sunflower in a field of weeds" in England, being so much more impressive than anything else that it would not look out of place in Monte Carlo.

Great

But then that, after all, is what Rolls Royce is about - being impressive. The Drophead Coupe joins great names in Rolls Royce like the Silver Ghost and the Phantom in carrying the name forward. Those who want a Rolls to carry them forward are unlikely to be disappointed.
